Imaging diagnosis in breast cancer: present and future

Objectives:
This course focuses on explaining the different techniques used in clinical practice to diagnose breast cancer. It highlights the screening program and all the steps from acquiring the first image until reaching the final diagnosis of the lesion. The training covers all imaging techniques (mammography, ultrasound, and MRI) and interventional techniques to obtain histological samples or treat the tumour.
The final part addresses the future of breast cancer diagnosis in relation to artificial intelligence-assisted techniques and personalized medicine.
